There are many types of Inverters to build. Once you build one inverter, you can light bulbs, or other electrical equipments by battery.
But, you had to do a boring thing that is manual changeover. That required you to plug in equipments in inverter when powercut and turn on inverter manually. And when mains came back you had to turn off inverter, and plug the equipment back to mains.
The following circuit will do that job automatically. It does the following,
When mains are on: Equipments are connected to mains
When mains are off: Equipments are connected to Inverter and inverter is turned on.
It requires a DPDT relay or 2C relay and a power adapter that can run the relay by mains.

It can happen by many reasons. By a blown fuse, by a burnt relay, etc.
i want ran my fan in inverter only not in mains because in mains i use AC in my house plz reply me i am use microtek inverter
Take output from Inverter and put it to fan through the N/C contact of a mains activated relay.

It's not possible to tell you specific reason without analyzing the inverter.
Iam a computer hardware technician face a problem with a u.p.s have no ac output but btry charging section ok i change al 3 relay bt no solution kindly help.
Check Inverter section (Transformer, MOSFET, driver).

Normally 3Amp and 5Amp versions are available.

@Prince..Please note that the circuit above is not an inverter circuit but an automatic battery/mains change over for an inverter.
Study the diagram very well and you'll see that it is self explanatory.
Materials needed are:
1. DPDT Relay
2. Power Adapter/Power Cord
3. A Diode (Rectifying) and
4. Wires to connect.

I have a Mercury Classic 600 UPS that is neither inverting nor supplying voltage when connected to the 220V mains but charges the battery.
I removed and tested all the 4 SPDT relays but they are working fine..
The circuit has 3pcs of CD4093, 1pcs of CD4081 and 1pcs of CD4077 ICs...
Is it that one or more of the ICs are bad?
WHAT SHOULD I DO TO RECTIFY THIS ISSUES?
I noticed that the MOSFET (4pcs of IRFZ44 were bad) and I replaced them but the issue was not resolved..
I also checked on the transistors (NPN - C945 & PNP - A733) and they were ok.
What could be the problem?? What am I not doing/testing right???

Test the oscillator part if that is working well.

APC Inverter 800va is not working on AC supply, the Relay is fluttering it seems, it is not selecting AC supply, it's functioning on Battery but not on AC supply, i checked fuses with Multimeter 1 2 3 4 and 5 all are OK. Kindly help me.
